Looe Key and Picnic Island Adventure

A Day of Adventure in the Florida Keys

The waters of the Florida Keys are a paradise best explored from the air and aboard our spacious catamaran. At Keybilly Adventures, we’ve crafted the perfect 5-hour private charter for up to six guests, blending snorkeling, sandbar exploration, and a (hopefully) dolphin-filled sunset cruise — all for a flat rate of $1,200, including Summerland Key Airport fees.

Snorkeling at Looe Key Reef
We set sail on an incoming tide, cruising through scenic canals while chatting with you about the Keys and spotting manatees. Our catamaran’s smooth ride takes us swiftly to Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary, home to North America’s largest barrier reef. After mooring, Captain Matt gives a quick safety briefing, and we scatter oats to attract a variety of fish - goliath grouper often hide out under the boat to enjoy the shade it provides. Slip on snorkel gear and dive into the reef’s usually clear waters, teeming with wildlife. The sanctuary’s protected status means fearless fish swim close, creating an unforgettable experience. Prefer to relax? Lounge on the catamaran’s deck while others snorkel.

Sandbar Exploration and Sunset Cruise
Next, we head to a nearby sandbar to wade in shallow waters, spotting conchs, starfish, and corals (please leave them in the water). As sunset approaches, we cruise west, chasing dolphins and sea turtles while soaking in the Florida Keys’ legendary sunsets. Back at the dock, unwind by a canalside fire—a perfect end to your adventure.
